New Delhi: Lashing out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his comments on former PM Rajiv Gandhi, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera on Sunday said that Modi was behaving like a 'psychopath'.
"You abuse Hemant Karkare, you abuse Jawaharlal Nehru. You honour those who build temples for Godse. You even insult the Indian Army by saying that they 'played video games earlier'. Now you have come down to abusing a great Prime Minister who laid down his life for the nation," Khera said while addressing a press conference here today.
"Narendra Modi, you should be ashamed. You are behaving like a serial abuser. You are behaving like a sick man. You are behaving like a psychopath," he added.
Speaking at a poll rally in Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh on May 4, PM Modi, attacking Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, accused the latter's father, former PM Rajiv Gandhi, of being corrupt.
"Your father was termed 'Mr Clean' by his courtiers, but his life ended as 'Bhrastachari number 1' (corrupt number 1)," Modi had said.
