New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to conduct public awareness campaign for farmers on the three agriculture-related legislation and to counter the Opposition parties agenda of misleading farmers on their objectives.
The Prime Minister also appealed to the party members to make people understand the Farm bills by conducting campaigns.
The BJP has decided to conduct awareness programs across seven states for 15-days where via press conferences, meetings and webinars the party aims to quash the fake news around the farm bills.
Although BJP got the Farm Bills passed from both the houses of Parliament amidst uproar by the opposition parties, it has become difficult since they have come on roads against the bills.

Party General Secretary Arun Singh has issued a circular to the state president, state organization, and state in-charge of the Rajasthan, Jammu, and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, and Delhi to start a public awareness campaign on the September 25 to eradicate falsehood done by the Opposition on the historic agriculture-sector reform bills.
The program was started yesterday and in the party's circular the workers have been told to explain to farmers the benefit they will be getting from the Farm Bill and it tries to liberate the farmers engaged in contract farming. It also says the new bill has given the farmer freedom and ways to double the income.
The party has also ordered that press conferences should be organized in every district contacting journalists to discuss agricultural reform.
The circular also says that Kisan Morcha members and all presidents of other farmers' organisation and members should be included in the program.
The circular sent by the party also said that a congratulatory letter should be sent to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar for this historic bill, Hoardings should be put up and Prime Minister should be greeted on a wide scale for the promotion of agriculture reforms.
It also specified that webinars should be conducted to quash the oppositions' propaganda of spreading falsehood regarding the bills.

BJP party members have been instructed to explain to the farmers about how the bill makes the farmers self-reliant. There is also a plan to organize a public meeting in each village and discuss agricultural reforms on the chaupal.
The workers have also been directed to go from door-to-door and do a public awareness campaign about the historic reform that the party has named Kisan Abhiyan.
Besides the Farm bill, the campaign aims to propagate the social health cards made by the Modi government for farmers, Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme, changes in rules to compensate for the loss of crops, PM Kisan Rail Yojana, etc.
