BJP takes full responsibility of the security of people residing in valley: Hussain

Bhartiya Janata Party's national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain assured that people of Jammu and Kashmir should not be afraid of steps taken by the security forces and the Amarnath Yatra was suspended owing to inputs of some terror attacks in the valley.

New Delhi: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and its national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said on Saturday that the Amarnath Yatra was suspended owing to inputs of some terror attacks in the valley. People of Jammu and Kashmir should not worry about this. These steps have been taken to assure the safety of the Amarnath pilgrims.

While talking to ETV Bharat Hussain assured that people of the valley should not be afraid of these steps taken by the security forces adding that there is no need to accumulate ration and skip schools and colleges.

"BJP takes full responsibility of the security of people residing in the valley," he added.

He also slammed former Cheif Minister of Jammu and Kasmir and PDP's supremo Mehbooba Mufti for instilling a sense of fear among the people of the valley.
