Bihar: With Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) president JP Nadda slated to visit Bihar on February 22, to lay the groundwork for state assembly elections, BJP national media co-head and Member of Legislative Council Sanjay Mayukh said that the state party unit is all set to welcome Nadda.
"Every Bihari is proud of the fact that JP Nadda has his roots in Bihar. Bihar is all set to welcome Nadda. This would be his first visit to Bihar after being appointed as the National President of the Bharatiya Janta Party on 20 January 2020, " Mayukh told ETV Bharat.
On Bihar's expectations from Nadda, Mayukh said, "We have faith in him that he will meet the expectations of the people of Bihar."

Nadda is scheduled to reach Bihar at 2 pm on February 22, and hold a core committee meeting which is most likely to be attended by BJP national general secretary and Bihar in-charge Bhupender Yadav, and Bihar party unit chief Dr Sanjay Jaiswal, among other party leaders.
He will also inaugurate 11 district offices of the party through video conferencing.
Assembly elections are due in Bihar later this year.
