Azad said, "whatever the government wants, it happens and now we will not allow it to happen in the country. The Supreme Court had given 4 weeks time to the government on the Citizenship Amendment Act and yet no decision has been taken regarding it."

He said that all political parties need to stand against this decision and if they do not do so, then people of OBC, SC-ST and minority class should see who is working for their benefit.

"The judgment of the apex court is totally against the Constitution's promise of right to equality," Harjeet Singh Bhatti, spokesperson of the Bhim Army, said.
