Bhim Army chief launches Azad Samaj Party

Coinciding with the birth anniversary of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) founder Kanshi Ram, Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar launched the Azad Samaj Party. As per sources, 28 ex-MLAs and six former MPs also attended the event and took oath. However, it was not officially confirmed.

Noida (Uttar Pradesh): Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar entered the political fray on Sunday by launching Azad Samaj Party. He made this announcement in Basai village of Sector-70 in Noida by taking oath of the Constitution.

Interestingly, he chose the colour blue for the flag of his party.

A large number of Bhim Army supporters and workers were present during the announcement. As per sources, 28 ex-MLAs and six former MPs also attended the event and took oath. However, it was not officially confirmed.

The party will also release its manifesto and launch a membership drive.
