Bhagalpur deputy mayor Rajesh Verma joins LJP

Deputy Mayor of Bhagalpur Rajesh Verma has joined the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and said that he would work hard to strengthen the political outfit in Bihar ahead of the assembly elections.

New Delhi: Rajesh Verma, Deputy Mayor, Bhagalpur, on Tuesday joined the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) in the presence of party chief Chirag Paswan here.

Joining the party, Verma said that he would help in realising the vision and dream of Chirag Paswan, and work with all his power to strengthen the party in Bihar.

"I would work to realise the dreams of Chirag Paswan," he said, adding that he would try to rope in 40 to 50 thousand people in the party from Bhagalpur. Bihar assembly elections are due later this year and political parties have already started preparing for the same.
