New Delhi: The first phase of Lok Sabha election 2019 concluded on Thursday. Polling was held in 91 Parliamentary constituencies across 18 states and two Union Territories.
EC said the process was fairly peaceful
The Election Commission in a press conference said that the process was peaceful, barring a few sporadic untoward instances.
Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Umesh Sinha thanked the electorate for coming out in large numbers to vote, and the officials for the smooth conduct of the process.
