New Delhi: Hours after India's most wanted fugitive Nirav Modi was arrested in London on Wednesday, Congress claimed his arrest as a "drama."
"The arrest of Nirav Modi is a drama nothing else. It is frequently happening when fugitive disappear and appear, whenever required," said Harish Rawat Congress general secretary to ETV Bharat. He said that just to get mileage before the election, BJP has staged this drama.

"There should be accountability. The real culprit should be booked," said Rawat. The Congress general secretary also raised questions over another fugitive, Mehul Choksi. "Government should be sincere over such cases of fraud," said Rawat.
Both Nirabh Modi and Mehul Choksi have been accused in the multi-crore rupees PNB scam. Nirav Modi and his relative Mehul Choksi had left from India last year before the detection of the Rs 13,000 crore scam in Punjab National Bank. Nirav Modi was also in the fugitive list of Interpol.
