Adhir Chowdhury's Murshidabad residence attacked by unidentified miscreants

Congress leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury's home in Murshidabad in West Bengal was vandalised by some unidentified miscreants on Saturday night. The district Congress has lodged a written complaint with the Berhampore police station in the matter. The Congress leadership claims that there is a political motive behind the attack.

Berhampore: The Murshidabad residence of Congress leader in Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, was attacked by some unidentified miscreants on Saturday night.

Some unidentified miscreants attacked Adhir Chowdhury's house on Shahid Surya Sen Road in Berhampore in Murshidabad.

According to CCTV footage and personal guards, the miscreants threw bricks and stones at the house. As a result, part of the house has been damaged.

The district Congress has lodged a written complaint with the Berhampore police station in the matter. The Congress leadership claims that there is a political motive behind the attack.

The police administration has been trying to take actions on the house of the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee.

This is not the first attack on Adhir's house. The house was attacked six years ago. Adhir Chowdhury is currently in Delhi. There are a few people in the house to take care of.

The guards of the house also alleged that some miscreants used vulgar language in the name of Adhir Chowdhury.
