Mysore (Karnataka): A couple who is getting married tomorrow in Mysore City have invited 108 corona warriors to bless them with their presence during the wedding ceremony.
The wedding of the couple -- Rashmi and Naveen -- will be held tomorrow at the GLN Convention Hall on Bogadi Ring Road. The wedding will witness the presence of 108 COVID-19 healthcare workers and other support staff as the chief guests. As a token of gratitude for their selfless work, the chief invitees will be felicitated before the marriage.
The group will include 15 sanitation workers, three Anganwadi workers, six ASHA workers, two junior female health aides, five postal staff, 11 nurses, 26 medical staff, 32 police and 11 media persons. These people are the main guests for tomorrow's event.
"The blessings of the COVID-19 Warriors is akin to the blessings of God. I hope there will be no need for any more blessings If I get the wholehearted blessing from Corona warriors. We will treat them like our relatives. We are very happy to felicitate them during our wedding", said Naveen.
