In a detailed post on X, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that three accused involved in the heinous crime had been arrested for the rape and murder of the girl who was found dead inside a water tank. Yadav said that there was a provision of capital punishment for such heinous crimes adding his government "will try to ensure that such criminals get the harshest punishment like death penalty".
