A Supreme Court bench comprising Justices Bela M Trivedi and Satish Chandra Sharma has acquitted seven persons in a 1985 murder case. In 1992, the trial court convicted five out of seven accused under sections 302 and 364 and acquitted two persons. The High Court overturned the acquittal of the two accused persons and also affirmed the conviction of five accused persons. All the seven accused moved the apex court assailing the High Court order.
