Hyderabad: Star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has kept the hopes of India winning gold alive as he qualified for the final of the men’s javelin throw on Wednesday. Neeraj will now be in action on August 8 as the final of the event will take place on the day with 12 competitors taking the field.
Neeraj performed a stunning 89.34m throw in the qualification and assured a berth in the final by breaching the required qualification mark.
Meanwhile, Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has come up with an offer on ‘X’ for Chopra’s gold triumph. The left-handed batter offered Rs 100089 for those who would like and comment on the post.
