অনন্তনাগ (জম্মু ও কাশ্মীর), 11 অক্টোবর: জম্মু ও কাশ্মীরে (Jammu and Kashmir) ফের এনকাউন্টার (Anantnag Encounter) ৷ অনন্তনাগে নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর সঙ্গে তীব্র গুলির লড়াইয়ে প্রাণ গেল এক জঙ্গির (Terrorist killed)৷ তার পরিচয় এখনও জানা যায়নি ৷
আধিকারিকদের সূত্রে খবর মিলেছে, অনন্তনাগের খাগুন্দ ভেরিনাগ এলাকায় হয়েছে এই এনকাউন্টার ৷ গোপন সূত্রে খবর পেয়ে আজ ভোরে ওই এলাকা ঘিরে ফেলেছিল নিরাপত্তা বাহিনী ৷ জঙ্গিদের খোঁজে চলছিল চিরুনি তল্লাশি ৷ তখনই বাহিনীকে লক্ষ্য করে এলোপাথাড়ি গুলি চালাতে শুরু করে জঙ্গিরা ৷ পাল্টা জবাব দেন জওয়ানরাও ৷ শুরু হয় তীব্র গুলির লড়াই ৷ এনকাউন্টারে মৃত্যু হয় এক জঙ্গির ৷ জখম হয়েছেন একজন পুলিশকর্মী ৷

কাশ্মীর জোন পুলিশের (Kashmir Zone Police) তরফে জানানো হয়েছে, বান্দিপোরা জেলার হাজিন এলাকার গুন্দজাহাঙ্গিরেও একই রকম এনকাউন্টার শুরু হয়েছে ৷ জঙ্গিদের সঙ্গে নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর গুলির লড়াই চলছে ৷
