WATCH: Monkeys appear to console mourners at a funeral in UP

A seemingly touching moment when a group of monkeys appeared at the funeral of an old woman at Belha village under Lalganj police station in Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh has become a social media phenomenon. As the relatives of the woman gathered to grieve, some monkeys entered the house, appeared to console the family members and then stayed for some time before they walked away. Witnesses said the monkeys had not been spotted at other funerals in the area before. For two hours, the monkeys kept the woman's body in a circle, and a monkey was spotted sitting near the dead body on the bed. After getting information about this matter, a huge crowd gathered on the spot and people started considering it as a miracle of God.
