WATCH: Himachal experiences fresh snowfall in various districts

A spell of fresh snowfall was experienced in Himachal's Shimla, Narkanda, Kufri, Jakhu and Charabra on Thursday, expecting to benefit the farmers in crop cultivation. The region also experienced light to moderate rainfall leading to severe temperature drop. The weather department has predicted, scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rain/snow with isolated thunderstorm, lightning and hail very likely over Western Himalayan region till February 5. The tourism and hospitality sector is also expecting a boost due to the snowfall.
