WATCH: Glacial burst leads to flash flood in Uttarakhand

The water level in Dhauliganga river rose suddenly due to breach of a glacier near a power project at Raini village in Tapovan area of Chamoli district. Sources told ETV Bharat that an alert has been issued in the area and people have been evacuated to safer places after glacial burst flood was reported. DM Swati S Bhadauria is expected to visit the spot soon.
