Watch: COVID patients treated next to corpses in Mandya hospital

The Malavalli taluk hospital administration in Karnataka's Mandya district has allegedly been treating COVID-19 patients in the same ward where bodies of the people who succumbed to the disease are kept. A video, which was shot in this ward, backs this allegation. In the video, two bodies are seen wrapped in white cloth while four other patients are being treated in the same ward. The patients told reporters that they have been spending their days in panic and have demanded the hospital authorities to shift the bodies elsewhere at the earliest. Sources said the patients have also appealed to the taluk administration to act swiftly.
