Adding another feather in cap Visakhapatnam port handles biggest vessel

Visakhapatnam port trust has handled one of the largest ships in its history recently. The bulk carrier, M T Oslo, a Liberian flagged vessel, berthed at the port is bringing 87,529 Metric Tonnes of coal for Sharda Metal and Sharda Energy & Minerals. With 229.20 meters length and 38 meters width, she is one of the biggest vessels making the port of call after a Singapore institute completed simulation studies of handling such heavy and largest cargo ships at Visakhapatnam port.
