Stones pelted at Muthoot Finance MD in Kochi

A group of protesters pelted stone at the vehicle of Muthoot Finance Managing Director George Alexander in front of IG office here around 9 am on Tuesday. Alexander sustained minor injuries and window panes of the car were shattered in the stone-pelting. He was later admitted to a private hospital here after police reached the spot. During the investigation, Police have taken one person into custody and also stated that as the protection was arranged only at the office and residential premises, the people attacked the vehicles.
