Tranquillised Indian bison dies within hours after capture

An Indian bison, also known as gaur, which was spotted in a residential area at Khothrud locality in Pune died hours after it was captured by the forest department officials. Panic gripped people after the bison was spotted roaming in the locality following which the forest department officials were pressed into action. As per officials the bison was captured and tranquillised which later died after few hours.
