Remembering the Iconic M S Subbulakshmi on her birth anniversary

The legendary Carnatic vocalist M S Subbulakshmi was born on September 16, 1916. Subbulakshmi was the first-ever musician to be awarded India's highest civilian honour the Bharat Ratna and the first Indian musician to receive the Ramon Magsaysay award.
