Will form government in Uttar Pradesh: PSP chief Shivpal Yadav

Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in 2022, all political parties are at loggerheads to clinch the maximum possible seats in the most populated state of India. Newly formed parties are also busy proving themselves as people-friendly entities. Meanwhile, Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party, which was formed by former state minister Shivpal Singh Yadav, is in the limelight as the founder claims that his party will impact the upcoming state elections. In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, Yadav said that he has formed his party organizations in 75 districts of the state and are fully prepared for the upcoming elections. He also claimed to form his government in Uttar Pradesh. When asked about his alliance with Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM party, Yadav said that he is trying to be with every party which is against BJP and for forming government in Uttar Pradesh, his party needs to be in alliance with other small parties. "If we need to remove BJP from the state, we have to strengthen our party first. It is my endeavour that in 2022, the Progressive Samajwadi Party to form the government and it is certain," he added.
