Politics has helped to diversify my writings: Ramesh Pokhriyal

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' will be conferred with prestigious literary honour- the Vatayan Lifetime Achievement Award- at a virtual ceremony on November 21. Dr Nishank is not just a politician but also an accomplished writer. While active in politics, he has written at least 75 books which have been published in different languages. In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, Pokhriyal said that writing has been his hobby since childhood and politics has provided him with diverse topics to write. "I have been writing continuously. Making a balance between politics and writing is not a big deal for me. I try to pic-up from everyday happenings around me and put them into my writings," the author cum minister said. Speaking on the online education amid CPVID-19 pandemic in the country, the Education Minister said that the whole team of the Education department worked day in, day out to make this possible across the country.
