Amid the Covid scare when families refuse to claim the bodies of coronavirus victims, some fasting young Muslims helped perform the last rites of a Jain woman. After the woman succumbed to Covid, no one from her family came forward whereupon some Muslim youths following the Covid protocols arranged for the cremation of the woman. They also persuaded the woman's brother and made him perform the last rites.
