Watch: Man dies as ambulance fails to reach due to inaccessible road in Chhattisgarh

In a testament to the abysmal state of affairs unleashed upon Chhattisgarh during monsoon, a man lost his life man at Kesada village in Kabirdham district as the ambulance could not reach the village to take him to the hospital. The deceased has been identified as Tukaram Baiga. A video has gone viral, showing few people carrying Baiga on a cot across a flooded river as the road has been washed away due to incessant rains in the state. Due to the unavailability of a non-motorable road, neither ambulance nor any other vehicle could reach the village and the family had no other option other than carrying the patient to the hospital in a cot.
