Vaccine shortage hits Chhattisgarh's inoculation drive

Chhattisgarh health minister T.S. Singh Deo said on Friday said that there is not enough vaccine stock to inoculate people above 18 years of age in the third phase of the vaccination drive. Singh claimed that despite placing an advance order of 25 million doses of Covishield, the Serum Institute of India (SII) has not responded. The Congress leader also said that Bharat Biotech will provide 25 million doses of COVAXIN by the end of July and also slammed the Central government for keeping different prices for the vaccines.
