WATCH: Inmates at Firozabad jail clang utensils to drive away locusts

Inmates clanged utensils to scare away a swarm of locusts that entered Firozabad District Jail on Friday. Around 1700 inmates are lodged in Firozabad Jail, which spans across 7 acres of land. Various crops are sowed in the land owned by the prison. Jail Superintendent Akram Khan said that if inmates had not clanged utensils, the swarms of locusts would have damaged vegetables and fruits.
