Ahead of Madhya Pradesh by-polls, state's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president VD Sharma said that his party always contests from the booth level and now we are looking to win 28 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. In a special interaction with ETV Bharat, Sharma said, "BJP leaders are constantly exhorting their subordinates and party functionaries to unite in support of candidates by listing the disadvantages of losing power. The reason behind this entire exercise is to keep the chasm in the party from undercutting the BJP’s chances of winning the by-polls." "Gwalior Chambal Zone is continuously holding the path of development progress. Recently, the largest project Chambal Express Way has been started in Gwalior Chambal Zone. When it will be ready, then several industries will be established in Gwalior Chambal Zone in future," he said. Slamming Congress over former CM Kamal Nath's remark, Sharma said, "Kamal Nath insulted a Dalit daughter and his national president apologized for that too but Kamal Nath is so arrogant that he did not apologize for his statement. Women across the country filed complaints against him over his derogatory remark, but despite that Nath did not apologize."
