Himachal: Sirmaur district administration launces 'My bag-my shop' initiative

In the midst of the global pandemic, the District Commissioner (DC) of Sirmour in Himachal Pradesh has come up with an initiative--'My bag-my shop,' to make youths of the state self-reliant. The Sirmaur district administration has got this portable 'shop' prepared under the Made in Sirmaur initiative. My bag-my shop was trialled in DC office Sirmaur. This bag contains 'entire store' in it. It has been designed keeping in mind the youth, women or self-help groups, who want to make their dreams a reality but lack of facilities and resources prevent their paths. With this, one can take one's shop anytime anywhere. Dr RK Paruthi, DC of Sirmaur said that the shop can be set up anywhere by removing items from the bag. The bag has two sections where goods can be kept for the sale.
