Fire breaks out at chemical factory in Thane

A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) area of Ambernath in Thane district on Thursday morning. Fire tenders have been pressed into service and firefighting operation underway. No casualties have been reported and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
