EXCLUSIVE: Wind directions play a key role in locust attack, says ICRISAT Entomologist Jagdish Jaba

In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics(ICRISAT) Entomologist Jagdish Jaba discussed measures that can be taken to prevent locust attack. Jaba said that wind directions play a key role in the invasion of locust attack which has severely affected northern states. He further added that agricultural scientists are making attempts to develop pesticides and even drones have proved effective in controlling locust attack.
