West Bengal: Octogenarian recovers from COVID-19, called as warrior Thamma

Beating COVID-19 in her 80s, Anjali Aich received a grand welcome from her neighbours after she was discharged from a private hospital in Durgapur. Aich, a resident of Burnpur in West Bengal was tested positive for coronavirus on August 1 and was admitted to the hospital. Celebrating her homecoming, neighbours showered love to Aich with clapping and praising the octogenarian. Being an inspiration for the society, Anjali Aich becomes the warrior 'Thamma' (Grandmother) in her locality.
