Watch: Mussoorie's Kempty Falls turns furious after incessant rains

A flood-like situation can be seen at Mussoorie's Kempty Falls after heavy rains on Saturday. The video of the fierce form of famed falls is going viral on social media. Due to the rising water level, the police team has banned the entry of the visitors and the surrounding area has been evacuated as a precaution. The weather in the state is not expected to improve anytime soon, as the Met Office predicts that Uttarakhand will continue to receive “heavy rain” over the next four to five days. The Public Works Department has deployed JCBs at both ends of the Mussoorie-Dehradun road due to the landslide happening near Galogi power house, so that if the road is closed after the landslide, then the debris can be removed immediately.
