WATCH: Denied water access, villagers in Maharashtra dig well on their own

Hingoli (Maharashtra): Besides lockdown woes, residents of Taktoda village here have been struggling for safe drinking water. With not a single formal source of drinking water, the villagers have been repeatedly making requests to departments concerned to find a solution to the issue. However, no initiatives were taken by the departments. The villagers expressed disappointment over their leaders not showing interest to find a solution to water scarcity in their village. Finally, the villagers decided to raise fund among themselves and dig a well.
