The Mitti Satyagrah Yatra, which started from Maharashtra Dandi on 30 March in protest against the controversial agricultural laws, reached Bichiwada in Dungarpur under the leadership of social activist Medha Patkar on Thursday. Farmers welcomed the yatra when it reached Dhamod village in Bichiwada. On this occasion, Patkar met farmers in Dhamod village and spoke about the damage done to the farmer by agricultural laws. Patkar said: "Indian culture and the economy of the country are threatened by the new legal provisions. This can endanger the livelihood of not only farmers but also livestock farmers and fishermen. For this, farmers have been standing on the border of the capital Delhi for more than the last 126 days and have been protesting." This yatra started from Dandi on 30 March 30 in support of the farmers' movement and constitutional values. Farmers of 800 villages in 33 districts of Gujarat have given support to this protest, said Patkar.
