First snowfall turns Uttarakhand's Madhyamaheshwar Dham visual feast

Rudraprayag: Locals wear a wide-grin as white blanket of snow covered peaks of Budha Madmaheshwar Dham after the season's first snowfall. The snow-capped Himalayas on the backdrop, lush green alphine meadows on left renders a visual treat for visitors. The spot has high reverence in Hindu mythology. Tourists will have to travel 60 km from Rudraprayag to Ukhimath and from Ukhimath to Ransi by vehicle to reach the spot.
