Telangana cops suspended for beating cab driver

A cab driver was thrashed by a group of policemen during a routine vehicle check on Tuesday. According to policemen, the cab driver identified as Wajid, was asked to stop the cab during a routine check-up near Ayyappaswamy temple in Sangareddy district. The policemen alleged that he did not stop the vehicle and behaved rudely with the senior police officials, resulting in the clash. Meanwhile, Sangareddy Deputy Superintendent of Police Balaji said that the policemen involved in the incident were suspended.
