Punjab power crisis: Police use water canons to disperse AAP protestors
The Punjab police on Saturday used water cannons to disperse Aam Aadmi Party workers who were protesting in front of Chief Minister Amarinder Singh's 'Siswan Farm House'. The Punjab government on Thursday had reduced timings of government offices and ordered cut down of power supply to high energy-consuming industries as the electricity demand in the state soared to over 14,000 MW on a daily basis.
