Odisha woman delivers baby under bridge

A woman from Odisha's Nabarangpur delivered her baby under a bridge after ambulances failed to arrive at her home. In the absence of the basic health care facilities, the pregnant woman was forced to cross a river and walk till the main road. She was also taken on a makeshift stretcher for some distance by her relatives. But, eventually, she gave birth under a bridge. It is after the birth of the child, an ambulance arrived and took the mother and the baby to the hospital. Both are reportedly healthy.
