Karnataka forest dept rescues elephant stuck in slush

An elephant caught in the mud was rescued by the forest department near Meenakatte Lake Hediyala section of the Bandipur Tiger Reserve on Sunday morning. Forest Department personnel deployed an earth-mover to rescue the elephant. The elephant managed to stand up after assisted by the machine and managed to go on its way after a while.
