Disproportionate assets case: Sasikala's kin Ilavarasi released from jail

Sasikala's sister-in-law and co-accused in the disproportionate assets case J Ilavarasi was freed from Parappana Agrahara Jail in Bengaluru today. Ilavarasi, who served four years in prison, went straight to the resort where Sasikala is staying after being released. Many supporters had gathered near the jail to welcome Ilavarasi. She had tested positive for COVID-19 on January 22, and was discharged from hospital after testing negative on February 2.
