Delhi's first female ambulance driver offers free service
New Delhi: Twinkle Kalia, Delhi's first female ambulance driver is offering free of cost services to citizens during the pandemic. Despite her struggle with a major disease like cancer, she is playing her part in helping Covid positive patients and their families. Twinkle and her husband who are residents of the Pratap Nagar area in Delhi, run 12 ambulance services in different areas of the national capital. She works with an insurance company and has also received the highest award for women, the Nari Shakti Puraskar, in 2017, from the President, for her selfless service.
