'Remedisivir, Tocilizumab not recommended as antiviral drug'

Ambala: The surge in Covid-19 cases has increased the demand for Remedisivir and Tocilizumab. Recently, Minister of Health, Anil Vij has raised the demand for 20,000 remedies from the Central Government. Meanwhile, during interaction with ETV Bharat, Dr Kuldeep Singh, CMO (Chief Medical Officer) said that as per the latest guidelines of World Health Organization), Remedisivir and Tocilizumab are not recommended as antiviral drugs.
