18 inch tall naga saint becomes center of attraction in Haridwar Kumbh
Narayan Nand Giri Maharaj, a 55-year-old naga saint, who is 18-inches in height and 18-kilo weight has become a centre of attraction in Haridwar Kumbh. Satnarayan Pathak of Jhansi took initiation of renunciation as a Naga Saint-Nand Giri at the 2010 Kumbh. Since then, he has been following the Sannyas tradition. Nand Giri's disciple Rajpal helps him with prayers and all the daily rituals. Before taking the initiation of renunciation, he had to listen to a lot of taunts for his short height. This is the reason that his mind turned towards renunciation.
