Momota and Yamaguchi in title wins at Badminton Asia Championships

Wuhan: Star Japanese shuttler Akane Yamaguchi scripted history by becoming the first Badminton player from her country to win the women’s singles title at Badminton Asian Championships when she beat China’s He Bingjiao in the final in Wuhan, China on Sunday. Meanwhile, Kento Momota retained his title by thrashing Shi Yuqi in the finals.
