Zack Snyder says four-hour Justice League 'evolved emotionally' after tragedy
Director Zack Snyder says his four-hour cut of Justice League "evolved emotionally" as he and his producer wife Deborah pieced it together after personal tragedy. Snyder left production of the superhero team-up film in early 2017 after his 20-year-old daughter's death, with filmmaker Joss Whedon reworking and completing the film that was released in theaters. Disappointed and vocal fans called for the studio to release the "Snyder cut" -- and that version, now called "Zack Snyder's Justice League," lands on the HBO Max streaming service Thursday.
