Tom Hiddleston opens up on Loki journey, dubs it 'extraordinary and unique project'
Actor Tom Hiddleston says Loki was an "extraordinary and unique project." The latest TV series in the Marvel/Disney universe sees Hiddleston return as the God of mischief, Loki, alongside an all-star cast featuring Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. The new six-part Marvel series takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and finds Loki locked in a Kafkaesque bureaucratic nightmare, after absconding with the powerful alien artifact known as the Tesseract. To escape the clutches of the so-called TVA - Time Variance Authority - Loki must put his powers of deception, cunning and intelligence to use in new and inventive ways. Loki premieres exclusively on Disney+ on 11 June.
