Tanhaji, which is a biographical period action and stars Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol in lead roles was released on January 10. People loved the storyline of the film pointing out the stunning performance of Saif Ali Khan and Ajay Devgn. Some appreciated the directorial work and others were thankful to know the events which got closed in the pages of history books. The film received rave reviews from most of the viewers. Saif's unique acting was the cherry on the top.
